There are two different sleeve options available too, short and 3/4 length to take you from spring and summer to autumn and winter.
This pattern was designed with beginners in mind. Even if you haven’t sewn with knit fabrics before, you will be able to tackle this project in a few hours, and if you get stuck anywhere, you can check our video sewalong for assistance.
Choosing the right fabric for the top versions versus the dress versions is very important. If you are making any of the top versions, we recommend using knit fabrics with some drape, like viscose jersey or a lightweight cotton jersey. For the dress versions, choose something with a bit more weight to it, like a medium weight cotton jersey, a cotton spandex knit or ponte di Roma.
If you are a beginner in sewing with knits, try to stay away from anything too lightweight and stretchy. Jerseys with more weight are much easier to handle and work with.
Please note that you might need extra fabric if you want to use special prints that require pattern matching (stripes etc.) OR if you are combining features of the different versions.
