As with any other pattern, the launch of the Adriana Skirt wouldn’t have been possible without the help of my amazing testers! They dedicated their precious time and supplies to make the skirt in its initial form and provide valuable feedback, so that I could release a pattern that was the best it could be!
I am always amazed by the kindness and generosity of the sewing community. The least I can do is say a huge THANK YOU to all of my testers and urge you all to follow them on Instagram, because they are truly fabulous!
Let’s have a look at their beautiful Adriana skirts 🙂
@adrithescneider: Love love love the skirt and I think the length is perfect, the waist is very flattering and it is a perfect pattern which you can dress up or down as you wish! I also love that in cotton it is very easy going pattern for summer and in eg. crepe it might be amazing for work!
@indoorshannon: I love the look of this skirt. Very stylish and a fun sewing pattern. Love the design of the pleats that continues through the paper bag waistband effect. Great design and I have already made two!
@kaleidothought: I absolutely love the skirt and would love to make it again. It came together very quickly. I had the hardest time deciding which version of the skirt and finally decided to go with the pleated panel because it’s just so sweet.
@gloopygoo: The Adriana Skirt is a feminine and graceful skirt. I absolutely adore this pattern. It is comfortable and flattering. The sew was a pleasant one and instructions were easy to follow. The perfect summer skirt, or wear it layered with stockings.
@sewsewilse:I was glad to sew up the Adriana Skirt from Athina. The high waisted skirt is so special because of the pleats at the side. I chose a cotton denim with golden glimmer for my version B and I think it’s my cup of tea 😉 The instructions were very easy to follow and if you’re very visual you can always check the sew along video. Recommended!
@hinze.laura89: This skirt turned out so beautiful. I was surprised at how quickly and easily it went together. The instructions were so good, and explained every step so well. I look forward to making more of these!
@theruralsewist: I like the design of the skirt, it is different to other skirt patterns and its fun.
@tomkatstitcherycarmel: I love my finished garment. I made version 2 out of a cotton twill for a more casual skirt, but I can’t wait to make version 1 in a wool plaid and then another version in a lawn for summer. Great skirt!
@divadoesdiy: This pattern is unique but classic at the same time! The shape it flattering to all body types and will be beautiful in a number of fabrics. Athina’s directions for this skirt are clear and easy to follow. I love this skirt!!!!
@ingelrest: I love the design of the Adriana skirt, with pleats on one side. Because of it’s asymmetric design, it really stands out. It looks like a store bought skirt, while it wasn’t that hard to make myself!
@itsewcolorful: I’m happy about my finished product. I will surely make more of this skirt
@wineandsewingnz : The Adriana is a lovely skirt. I made it in slightly lighter cotton because I just loved the material so much and I think it’s lovely!
@victorialucilleanne: I just love love the look of it and I think I will make another out of cotton lawn for the summer!
@amanda_isewalot: I really love my skirt and I would definitely make it again. Great pattern Athina!!
@sewing_in_spain: At first glance this looks like simple A line skirt, but there is a suprise to the pattern – the pleats on one side give this skirt real character.. I used a light Jacquard and the fit was perfect first time.
