It’s time for another blog post dedicated to all the lovely seamstresses who used my patterns to create some beautiful clothes. I always find it so useful to see a pattern made up in different fabrics, styled in various ways and worn by people who have different body shapes to mine. So hopefully you are enjoying these kinds of posts, too 🙂
This time I’ll divide posts by pattern and we will start with my newest release, the Suzy dress. I am truly overwhelmed by the response that this pattern had and every time I see one popping up online it makes me smile.
Moving on to the Sheona dress and top, which was THE most popular choice during February due to being feature as a “Sew My Style” pattern. So many amazing versions popped up online and you can check them out on this Pinterest board.
I’ve chose only a few to show you here, starting with Aaronica who made the ruffled hem top with the bishop sleeve hack. Stunning! Shannon also played around with the pattern and using my tie front hack tutorial, she made this adorable mustard yellow version. Check out her full pattern review HERE.
Natalie made a Sheona dress with the fluttered sleeves hack and Tamlyn made version 5 with the ruffles at the sleeves and hem. How adorable are they? Last but not least, Laura made the ruffled hem top version and you can find her full pattern review HERE.
Up next we have the Nikki cardigan, the ideal choice of outerwear for this time of year. Jessica made a red one that I absolutely adore, while Evangelia is very on-trend with her animal print version. Kelly’s orange cardigan and the way she styled it is sooo perfect, isn’t it?
And that’s it for now 🙂 There are so many more amazing makes over on Instagram if you search for the hashtag #akpatterns but you can also join my private FB group and share your thoughts and photos there.
Until the next time, happy sewing,
