I’ve said many times that working from home is certainly challenging when it comes to getting dressed in the morning. It’s so easy to stay in pajamas all day, isn’t it? However, this situation has been driving me crazy lately and I decided to push myself and change my routine. Documenting my daily outfits on Instagram Stories has been a tremendous help, as it has given me the motivation I needed to reach for actual clothes every day. Plus, it has really helped my productivity! Since many of you that read this blog are not active on Instagram, I thought it would be nice to share these outfits here as well. So, here’s what I wore last week.
Before I tell you about the outfits, you’ll have to excuse the picture quality. These photos were taken by my phone, which doesn’t have the best camera. And I am obviously not wearing make-up either, haha 🙂
First up, my Sheona dress in a striped ponte Roma, hacked to have a peter pan collar (tutorial for it HERE). I LOVE this dress because it’s so warm and cosy! I layered it with a grey Nikki cardigan, as it has been freezing here lately.
On Wednesday I didn’t wear anything handmade. We were out running errands all morning, so I put on my winter uniform: a pair of RTW jeans and a lightweight jumper by H&M.
You’ll notice that this scrunchie is making lots of appearances in my daily outfit pictures. I got it last week in black and mustard yellow and looove it! The dress I wore on Thursday is no other than my Coco dress by Tilly and the Buttons, which I hacked to be less A-lined at the hem.
Next up we have a new favorite: my wrap dress, which I made by hacking the Nikki Cardigan (tutorial for it HERE). I thought I was going to freeze that day, but actually it turned out to be very warm. I layered it with an oversized cardigan by H&M.
And that was all for last week. I am hoping to continue documenting as many of my daily outfits as I can and post little roundups every now and then. Let me know if you’d like to see them 🙂
