May was a month filled with inspiration! With everyone showing their makes for Me Made Made, I found myself admiring so many talented ladies out there and my to-sew list filled up very very quickly! I have a ton of patterns that I want to try and I wish the days were longer to be able to make everything I need.
In today’s post I’m sharing with you my favorite patterns for May. Some of them are patterns I own and have made before and others I am planning to buy and make soon. If I had shared a review of them on the blog, I’ll make sure it’s linked too.
The Doris dress by Sew Over It. I’ve been eyeing this pattern for months and I’m still beating myself for not getting it during their sales in the spring. I love the buttons in the front and I have seen some lovely versions out there that I want to recreate!
The Clemence skirt by Tilly and the Buttons. The fact that I made 3 of them in May proves how much I love this pattern. Whoo doesn’t need a pretty skirt in their wardrobe? You can read my detailed review here.
The Florence Kimono by Sew Caroline. I am in LOVE with this pattern and I already wore mine so many times. I have plans to make a hundred more! Kimonos are a must for this season and I totally recommend this pattern.
The Marigold Jumpsuit by Tilly and the buttons. I don’t have this pattern yet but I really want to buy it, mostly for the trousers version. I think it’s a great pattern for the summer.
The Sorbetto top by Colette. This is a FREE pattern for a gorgeous top that has a cute box pleat on the front. There are 3 versions of this and I definitely wanna try it!
The Alice Top. This is part of Sew Over It’s new online class and I want this in my life! The bow detail in the front is just adorable! I might cave and buy it, although I don’t actually need the class (otherwise it would have already been in my inbox)
The Reeta dress by Named Patterns. How gorgeous is it? I love the midi lentgth and the gathers at the waist. I don’t own the pattern yet but it’s on my list!
The Reggie dress by Seamwork magazine. A pretty and easy to wear dress for the summer that I really want to make. If you want to know what Seamwork is and how to get your first month at half the price read my post here.
Last but not least, the Rae skirt by Sewaholic. I don’t have the pattern yet but this floaty and easy to make skirt seems ideal for the warmer months and I definitely wanna give it a try.
Have you made any of the patterns I picked? Let me know, I’d love to see your versions!
