When you purchase something from our online shop, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect the personal information you give us. Where we store your information
We store personal information on our database and with select third parties, as outlined below:
WordPress and WooCommerce
athinakakou.com is a WordPress website, and our online shop runs on WooCommerce. When you place an order with us we receive your name, email address, phone number, billing address and shipping address. We DO NOT store any payment details. This information allows us to process your order, ship it out to you, and get in touch with you should there be any problems.
Paypal
We use Paypal to process all the payments on our website. Paypal keeps a record of your name, e-mail and physical address as well as the amount of money you paid us and the time and date of the transaction. Paypal uses encryptions for all the transactions they process.
Webmail
We use Webmail for all our company email. If you contact us on any email address ending in @athinakakou.com (or our personal address @craftaholic.gr) your email address and email content will be stored on our servers. When you place an online shop order, we receive a confirmation email to our personal e-mail address. In this email we receive your name, email address, phone number, billing address and shipping address, as well as details of your order.
Mailchimp
Mailchimp is a marketing automation platform, and we use it to send out our marketing emails. When you subscribe to our newsletter, we store your name, address and email address (depending on what you share with us) on Mailchimp.
Comments
If you leave a comment or a product review on our website and choose to do so by leaving your name and e-mail, these information will be public to us and our readers.
What we do with the information we gather
We require this information to understand your needs and provide you with a better service, and in particular for the following reasons:
- Internal record keeping
- We use your information to process and send out your online shop orders
- We send promotional emails about new products, special offers or other information which we think you may find interesting using the email address which you have provided

Controlling your personal information

You also have “the right to be forgotten”, which means that you can ask us to permanently delete all your personal information from our records. We will remove them from all our systems and marketing suites. In addition, if you created an account in our online shop, you can delete it anytime from this page and all your personal information will be removed.
