Hello everybody! Welcome to my blog!
My name is Athina and I am a seamstress/teacher/professional blogger/addicted crafter…. and the list goes on! I’ve been blogging since 2012 at Craftaholic.gr , my first blog which is written in greek and dedicated mostly to my business.
I live in Greece, in a small town in the northern part of the country and sadly far away from the sunny beaches you may have seen on the television, but we have a beautiful lake and an appartment with an amazing lake view 🙂
Me and my fioncee, Dimitris, own two maltese dogs which we ADORE!
I am lucky enough to work for myself and am the owner of a small handmade business called Craftaholic, where I design and sell kid’s clothes and accesories. So, I spent all my day among cute fabrics, colors, sewing machines and thread! How cool is that?
I recently started sewing my own clothes and plan to have a fully handmade wardrobe in the next 2 years. I almost can’t believe I have never swen a garment for me until last December! I’ve been inspired by the sewing community so much and decided to start a second blog, this one, written in eglish, so it’s easier to share my makes, my experience and my…mistakes with everyone around the world and not just people who live in Greece. I also have a YouTube channel in english 🙂
I have many other hobbies, such as quilting, crochet, cross stitching, embroidery, photography and baking and will be sharing some relevant posts as well, so this blog will be mostly about sewing but expect other crafty things, too!
